We have been here in good times & bad From the earthquakes of 2018 a very powerfull tremor the house in the village where we lived was destroyed so we had to evacuate for quite a long time. Through the pandemic of 2020 hit, We have seen Lombok change condition (Oh, did we mention that we were at the top of Rinjani Mountain when that earthquake hit our place…reminded us to tell you that story!) We specifically promote the cleaning up of Mount Rinjani and always bring down more garbage than we carry up, We strive to make the mountain better and minimize the impact of humans at our fragile island. We know there are many organizer of tour groups who can assist in hiking Rinjani Mountain. but they are don’t really care about trash they bring up to Mountain.
